Creaft makes unique solid veneer belt buckles which are designed individually according to the specific request of each customer. Each belt buckle is made of 100% wood. They are created by layering different veneers (thin sheets of solid wood) cross-banding them for strength with a customized top, and finished with an African Ebony pin.
The custom designed "Rhino's Hockey" belt buckle was created out of stained Maple for the rhino's head, Eastern Maple for the horn and eyes and Ebony for the background. The black accent lines were burned in using a branding technique. The core layers are made up of Maple and stained Maple with one piece of Mahogany which adds a red accent layer.
The custom designed "Thor's Hammer" belt buckle was created out of Zabrano, with the background being Koa. Two African Ebony details act as accents, while the body of the belt buckle is made up of alternating sets of Cherry and Jatoba woods.
